Turns out some Christmas songs are great vehicles for teaching theology to C. He's singing "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" for the church Christmas program, and we've gotten the opportunity to talk about not just the incarnation, but redemption/ransom, Israel's relationship to the gospel, and the exile from God's presence that results from sin.

"Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery" is also great for this purpose.
