At fourteen months, C's personality is really starting to take shape. He's cautious in unfamiliar situations but happy to explore as long as mama (and no one else) is close by; he's picky about food but will stuff fist-sized pieces of things he likes into his mouth all at once; he eagerly waves goodbye but is stingy about waving hello. He is at once a gift and a burden, simple yet challenging.
