In today's edition of Food Things That Don't Make Sense: Spices in jars with shaker lids for spices that will never be shaken. Shaking the jar for a dash of salt or nutmeg? Makes sense. Shaking the jar to measure out multiple tablespoons of chili powder? Makes. No. Sense.
