So today me and my dad went to visit my grandparents for awhile after work (how weird is that? I drive my dad to work...), and we were having a discussion about snails eating my grandma's garden plants. Then my dad said something being sophisticated like the French and eating snails. To which my grandma responded (in Chinese), "They'd like you to think that, but in reality it's because someone was really poor and had nothing else to eat. Why else would they pick up and eat something in the fields? Since then, they've tried to make it into something sophisticated, but it didn't start out that way."

HAHA.

Oh well, it was funnier in Chinese.

A quest!
