I purchased 512MB of RAM from Best Buy yesterday, and the neighborhood friendly geek (that is, Cliff Jao) was kind enough to install it for me. Now I start up Microsoft Word just for the joy of seeing how fast it loads and that it doesn't cause every other program to freeze for two minutes. Yeap. MS Word + OS X (10.4.2!) with 256MB of RAM is a bad, bad idea. Now, all I have to do is burn some anime to CD and free up some hard drive space.

Oh, apparently the garbage truck comes on Tuesday morning as well. Again, perhaps this is a good thing?
