A conversation with my dad while I was making dinner.

"Why do you listen to that music while you're cooking? Doesn't it distract you from thinking?"

"Spinach doesn't require too much thinking, dad."

"You mean you don't think about other things while you're working?'

"Such as...?"

"I do this all the time... think about a problem to solve, a project to complete, what to lecture my kids on... you should always be using your creative thought processes. This is called being efficient with your time."

"Oh."

A few seconds pass. Then my dad says,

"Maybe this is why I am so absent minded."

HAHAHAHAHAHA <3 my dad. :) :) :)
