Pictures!
McGraw Tower. Cornell's belltower.
Statue of Ezra Cornell in the Arts Quad.
The Arts Quad. The building with many windows in the background is Olin Library, the graduate research library.
Part of the Engineering Quad. The building on the left side with the ugly yellow paneling is Upson Hall, the MAE building.
The sun dial in the Engineering Quad. If you look on the right side of the curve, you can see the shadow that indicates what time it is. Pretty neat. Except the sun shines so rarely that it seems kind of pointless.
My room. Yes, it is huge and empty.
Another view of my room. You can see two doors... there's actually a third to the left of the one on the left. The one on the right is a sink that I share with a girl in the room next to mine, the other two are closets. Yes, two closets. On my desk, you can see the Nitaoculus picture that we took at Ray's sushi in May, a picture of me and Elsa (Elsa! I <3 you! Where are you??), my plant Isabela (in the dark green plastic pot), and my Nalgene bottle (Mike Wu! Where are you??), which Merian pointed out.
View of Fall Creek Gorge from the Thurston Avenue Bridge. I walk by this every morning on my way to class. The water comes from Bebe Lake, which you can sort of see past the Triphammer Foot Bridge near the top of the picture.
Fall Creek Gorge from the other side of the Thurston Avenue Bridge. Sometimes people write stuff with rocks on the bottom. Once, it said "I love you, don't jump". So that was interesting.
Cornell has squirrels in abudance. This is one of many.
Cascadilla Gorge. Gorgeous.
More of Cascadilla.
And more.
Be jealous. Be very jealous.
Yum.
There you go. You know you want to come.
Oh, one more picture. From the chopsticks that I got in a Chinese restaurant...
if it were so
