Let's see... TTT... if you haven't seen the movie, you might not want to read this... the potrayal of Gollum was, as everyone has said, excellent. The Gollum/Smeagol dialogue was excellent. Action scenes were good too... What else... oooh some really cool Legolas stuff... and I'm NOT just saying that because he's a good looking elf. The first uber-cool thing was the flipping-onto-a-horse when they're attacked by the warg-riders... then his little sliding-down-the-stairs-on-a-shield... and his knives. :) Eowyn was done pretty well... Stuff that could have been better... Gimli... stupid using-dwarf-as-comic-relief... >:| And the ents could have been much cooler... so much potential lost there. Oh, there seems to be a lot more emphasis on the non-ring part of the story in the movies... the time between Frodo/Sam and Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli seemed to lean more toward the latter... but in the book, it's pretty evenly balanced out. Of course, that's understandable since two hobbits going to Mordor isn't as exciting as the future king cutting off orc heads. Stuff that was really, really awful... they turned Faramir into a stinking weasel! >:| >:| >:| Which led to that whole thing about Frodo in Osgiliath... sigh. Hmm... I guess the Faramir thing bothered me the most... can't think of anything else right now. Oh well... like my bro says, it would be a great movie but for the book.

Then it is a good dream.
